This spell makes caster pick up an ally.

Notes* Target must be an ally or a friendly summon.

 

Following are some special rules about carrying characters:

 

  • Character on top may step down from panda as an ordinary movement. Doing this requires no dodge roll should an enemy be adjacent.
  • A panda holding a character does not block adjacent enemies, however characters on top of the panda does. This means that a character adjacent to a friendly panda holding an enemy is subject of dodge roll while a character adjacent to an hostile panda holding an ally is not.
  • A character on top of the panda gains +1 range.
  • A character on top of the panda can not be the target of any spell however he will still get damage from area spells.
  • Pushing or pulling the panda will make the character on top fall down. (Causing no altitude damage.)
  • It is not possible to cast Karcham, Karzam or Transposition on a panda who is holding a character.
  • Casting Assault from on top of a panda or on a panda holding a character, will cause damage but no switch.
  • A panda holding a character does not switch with a sacrier when getting hurt even if the sacrier has cast Sacrifice on him.
  • When standing on a special tile, only the panda will get the buff, (even though the animation shows for the character on top, he gain no buff)
  • A panda holding an enemy character about to be tile dropped dies in the following order: The panda first, then the one he carries.

 

It is not possible to cast the following spells on top of a panda:

  1. Spells that can target caster like Earth and Water Armor or Regenerating Word. (Exceptions: Clover, Stimulating Word, Word Of Youth, spells that that has area target such as Revitalizing Word and spells that target all characters such as Visual Torment.)
  2. Spells that will move caster away like Transposition or Jump.
  3. Spells that will hurt caster like Feline Spirit or Life Transfer. (Exceptions: Punishment and Word Of Torture. These spells will not cause caster to take damage. Probably a bug.)
  4. Fists.
  5. Spells that pick up or throw character.
  6. In addition following spells: Lethal Trap, Roulette, Tree and Acceleration.

 

All other spells and weapons are possible to use on top of a panda.
