One need not to stay in the area to keep the buff.
Caster iop will gain double benifit of the buff. Suppose he use the combo Bravery Guide + Celestial Sword every turn. He will then make 8 + 3 + 3 = 14 damage every turn since he both get buff from the bravery guide he just cast but also the one he cast one turn ago.
